Who is Sayyid Muhammad Ruhi?
Sayyid Muhammad Ruhi (b. December 12, 1960) is an international Islamic scholar, thinker, and spiritual leader who has dedicated his life to spreading the universal message of Islam to the world. Blending the traditional orthodox Sunni doctrine with the scientific perspective of the modern age, Ruhi has been conducting his academic and spiritual guidance work uninterruptedly abroad for the last 40 years.
Carrying his vision to a global dimension after his theological studies, Sayyid Muhammad Ruhi has been instrumental in thousands of people embracing Islam through the academic and spiritual bridges he established based in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States of America. He has given numerous seminars on Islamic mysticism (Tasawwuf), ethics, and jurisprudence in universities and institutes across the Western world, successfully representing the face of peace, tolerance, and excellence (Ihsan) of Islam on international platforms.

The Sayyid Muhammad Ruhi Foundation is a deep-rooted, official, and respected non-governmental organization whose foundations are laid on spirituality, knowledge, sincerity, and unconditional solidarity. Our primary goal is to revive the Islamic and moral values that have been largely forgotten in today's world, and to raise conscious generations useful to their country and nation in the luminous light of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah. In line with the straight path (Sirat al-Mustaqim) shown by our founder and spiritual leader, Sayyid Muhammad Ruhi, our foundation embraces all segments of society with compassion in both material and spiritual realms.
The founding philosophy of our foundation is based on the reality that Islam is not merely a set of formal rituals, but an immense system of life that must penetrate the heart, the soul, and social relations. In this context, the educational and guidance activities carried out within our body do not only transfer theoretical religious knowledge; they also aim to teach the centuries-old Sufi ethics, etiquette, humility, and human virtues by personally living and keeping them alive. As the Sayyid Muhammad Ruhi Foundation, we believe that the spiritual construction of hearts is equivalent to the construction of strong and peaceful societies.

From our soup kitchens to our madrasas, from our hafiz (Quran memorization) courses to our libraries, all our units act with the consciousness of being representatives of Islamic morality on earth. Caring for the needy, patting the heads of orphans, and providing material and spiritual support to students of knowledge are the main pillars that form the constitution of our foundation.
Our Islamic Values and Theological Stance
Our foundation is uncompromisingly in line with the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (Sunni Orthodox) doctrine in matters of belief and practice. We have an understanding that aims to bring the climate of the Era of Bliss (Asr-ı Saadet) to the present day, completely far from innovations (bid'ah) and superstitions. Our spiritual disposition requires adhering strictly to the outward rules of the Shariah, putting on the etiquette of the Tariqa, and reaching the secrets of the truth with sincerity. Transferring the religion of Islam to society in accordance with its original form, away from extremism and negligence, forms the main backbone of the education we provide in our madrasas.

Foundation Activities
In addition to spiritual construction, our foundation undertakes professionally managed educational and social relief projects that strengthen social solidarity.
Islamic Sciences and Madrasa
We have study circles where traditional Islamic sciences (Arabic, Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Aqaid) are presented with pedagogical methods. These trainings, given by our expert and authorized teachers, are completely free of charge. Raising generations in the luminous light of the Quran is our greatest aim.
Soup Kitchen and Social Relief
Operating within our foundation, our soup kitchen provides hot meals to hundreds of families in need every day. Regular food parcels are distributed every month, and we strive to build a consciousness that "he is not of us who sleeps full while his neighbor goes hungry" through winter fuel and clothing aid.
Youth Initiatives
We have established special centers to protect our youth from the dangers of the streets and moral corruption. Our youth, who learn national and spiritual values, fill their spiritual voids with weekly guidance discourses and become beneficial individuals to society.
